The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Amravati, established in 2011, serves as the Western Regional Centre of IIMC and is currently located within the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University campus, approximately 5 km from Amravati Railway Station .

A new permanent campus is under development in Badnera, Amravati district, on a 15-acre land parcel allocated by the Maharashtra Government.
