Hari Shankar Soni is an Indian journalist and educator, best known as the founder of MEDIA EXAMS, a specialized learning platform dedicated to preparing students for media entrance examinations in India. He launched the initiative in 2018 during his academic tenure at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), initially as a blog named Jag Jagran. The positive response from aspirants led to its evolution into a comprehensive educational platform.
Hari Shankar Soni holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). His academic qualifications also include a B.Com (Hons.), an M.A. in Public Administration, and an M.A. in Mass Communication. He is currently pursuing doctoral research in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Since 2019, he has been actively engaged as a freelance journalist, educator, and content creator, contributing to media education and career guidance initiatives. Based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, he continues to work towards making quality media education accessible to aspiring journalists and communication professionals across India.
